About Me

“In the arena of otolaryngology I consider myself a general otolaryngologist with a strong interest in the subspecialty of Paediatric Otolaryngology. As far as I know, I am one of only a handful of Malaysians to have gone overseas to work in a paid job in a paediatric otolaryngology unit for hands on experience, not in a mere “observer attachment” capacity.

The outstanding part of my experience in Universtiy Malaya Medical Centre over four years was the development of expertise in the paediatric airway. I worked very closely with the Paediatricians of University Malaya Medical Centre, in particular the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and Respiratory Paediatric Medicine. I also work closely with Paediatricians involved in Gastroenterology and children with voice problems and delayed development.

I have strong experience in general ENT operations for the ear, nose and throat, and head and neck.”
